We follow the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice regarding the recommended immunization schedule for children and teens and advocate that all children receive the recommended vaccines to protect them from many preventable serious illnesses and diseases.

Even for healthy children, check-ups are very important!  Well visits allow us to assure that growth and development are appropriate for young children; and to screen for social, emotional, behavioral, and school problems in older children.  A normal schedule of check-ups for children includes visits within a few days of going home from the nursery (newborn), at 1 month2 months4 months6 months, 9 months12 months15 months18 months2 years3 years4 years, and 5 years and annually after that.
